Membership and Fees
San Diego Kendo Bu (SDKB) is a proud member of the Southern California Kendo Federation (SCKF) and All United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF).
To join San Diego Kendo Bu, please:
- Fill out the registration form
- Fill out and sign the AUSKF waiver form
- Go over the "Kendo Etiquette" document and "Beginner Goals Checklist"
- Contact sensei and let them know when you want to start!
Membership Fees:
Federation Dues: Annual fees for SCKF and AUSKF are collected by the dojo. These fees cover the cost of liability insurance and grant access to rank testing.
Dojo Fees: Dojo fees are collected on a quarterly basis. Fees go towards liability insurance and dojo property use. The dojo fees for SDKB are amongst the lowest in any kendo dojo nationally, with the greatest number of opportunities for practice weekly offered by any dojo in California.

(Membership period runs from 1st of April on the current year until the end of March the following year. Fees are not pro-rated).
